SU delegates and WOU professors

From February 15th to 18th, three professors and two doctoral students visited our long-time international partner Western Oregon University (WOU) in the United States. During their visit, they had a series of meetings, in which they exchanged ideas on the maintenance of the existing partnership. Also, the professors gave lectures to the faculty members and students of WOU: Prof. Motohiro Kozawa on “My artworks and their connections with traditional Japanese culture,” Prof. Yuki Shimizu on “The children are psychologists: The developmental processes of understanding others,” and Prof. Satoshi Takahashi on “Right to Equal Education Opportunity in Japan.”

During their stay, WOU cordially held a welcome reception hosted by Prof. Kim Hoffman and Dean Mark Girod with the honor of their presence of President Rex Fuller and his wife. The SU delegates experienced a fruitful and wonderful visit to WOU.
