Scholarship for Privately Financed Students in Saitama University : Rotary Yoneyama Memorial Foundation (Preannouncement)

 This is a preannouncement for the application of Rotary Scholarship. The following information is for Saitama University students who wish to apply for 2019 FY. Since the application will take place during the summer break, it is highly recommened to read the information below, not to miss the application procedure and deadline. Details of application and direction will be disclosed when the application is open in August.

Application Period

Starting from the application opening until the following deadlines :

 

【General Application】   September 13th (Thu), 2018 11:00

     <Who can apply> ・Current SU students, including prospective Master’s

                                       students (from  April, 2019)

                                   ・Prospective students admitting from October, 2018

                                        or from April, 2019

 

【Secondary Application】   October 3rd (Wed), 2018 11:00

     <Who can apply> ・Prospective students admitting from October, 2018

                                        or from April, 2019 ONLY

   ※Priority will be given to the General Application applicants.

Application Documents(Reference)

・Application Form  /  Resume

・Research Plan : Must be handwritten in Japanese (500 – 800 letters)

   <Theme> Undergraduate : “Current Study / Cource Registration Status and

                                                  Plans after Graduation”

                    Graduate : “Research Plan or Current Research Situation”

・Essay : Must be handwritten in Japanese (500 – 800 letters)

   <Theme> “Why chose Japan to study abroad? Plans after Graduation”

・Academic Transcript : Spring, 2018 (will be issued after August 20th), or

                                          the most recent available one (If the transcript is

                                          from your home country, attach an English or

                                          Japanese translation.)

・Copy of Student ID card and Residence Card (both sides)

・Prospective students must submit the Acceptence Letter from SU. (If not

    available at the time of application, the applicant must declare the

    approximate date of submittion.)
