Welcome Ceremony for 2020 and 2021 enrolled student

The Welcome Ceremony will be held for the students who enrolled Saitama University in 2020 and 2021 when the Entrance Ceremony was cancelled, as follows after taking measures to prevent infection with the COVID-19 virus. Please note that it may change depending on the spread of infection. If there are any changes, we will let you know on this page.

 

1.Eligible to attend the Welcome Ceremony
Students enrolled in 2020 and 2021 (Undergraduate faculty, Master’s program, Doctoral program, and Professional Degree program)

※We also have seats for family members, but there is a possibility that you cannot enter the venue because the space between seats is secured. Also, please note that family members may be restricted from visiting the venue depending on the spread of infection.

 

2.The date and time
Date: Wednesday, April 6, 2022
Time: 15:00 (Reception starts at 14:00, Entry before 14:50)

※The 2022 Entrance Ceremony will be held at the same venue in the morning of the same day.

※In order to prevent infection with the COVID-19 virus, all visitors are required to register their seating positions on the day of the ceremony.
 On the day of the ceremony, we will distribute a seat registration form (sample)PDFファイル, so please register on the website using your smartphone or fill out the form directly and register your seat number and contact information.

3.Venue
Saitama Super Arena – Main Arena Hall(8 Shintoshin, Chuo-ku, Saitama-shi)

4.Notices
●Please use public transportation when you come to the venue.
●As a result of the temperature measurement at the reception, if it is over 37.5 degrees, you cannot enter. Also, please refrain from coming if you have symptoms of cold other than fever.
●Please wear a mask to prevent infection.
