Due to the Declaration of the State of Emergency by the Japanese government and of Saitama Prefecture’s emergency measure, Saitama University has been restrictingstudents’ access to SU Okubo campus from January 8 to February 7.
In accordance with the “Declaration of Emergency Situation” issued by the government on February 2, 2021 and “Emergency Measures in Saitama Prefecture after February 8” issued by the Governor of Saitama Prefecture on February 4, 2021, we extend the period of university emergency measures until March 7, 2021.
Due to the the “Declaration of Emergency Situation” issued by the government on February 2, 2021 and “Emergency Measures in Saitama Prefecture after February 8” issued by the Governor of Saitama Prefecture on February 4, 2021, Saitama University restricted students’ access to SU Okubo campus from January 8 to March 7.
In accordance with the “Declaration of Emergency Situation” issued by the government and “Emergency Measures in Saitama Prefecture after March 8” issued by the Governor of Saitama Prefecture on March 5, 2021, we extend the period of university emergency measures until March 21, 2021.
In response to this, we have extended the following measures in order to protect the lives and health of our students and to prevent the spread of COVID-19 to be effective until March 7 21, 2021.
Updated information will be provided to you when there is any change from the government and/or from Saitama Prefecture.
