Workplace vaccinations for COVID-19

On June 1, the Chief Cabinet Secretary stated, “In order to reduce the burden of vaccination on local communities and to accelerate vaccination, the MHLW will make it possible for companies, universities, and other organizations to administer vaccinations in occupational categories (including schools) from June 21.”.

As a result, it is difficult to meet the requirements for self-employment of medical professionals among the requirements for application for COVID-19 occupational vaccinations, so SU decided not to apply for occupational vaccinations at this time.

All students, faculty, and staff who wish to receive the vaccine should be vaccinated by the local government that registers as a resident.

We will continue to consider the possibility of occupational vaccination. As a result, when it becomes possible to receive vaccinations in the occupational field in our university, we will inform them again.
