July 9, 2021

Saitama prefecture has taken “Stricter Anti-Coronavirus Measures” from April 20 to June 20 July 11. On June 17 July 8, these measures have been extended until July 11 August 22.

Since asymptomatic COVID-19 students attended some face-to-face lectures, all the participants (143 people were requested by the public health center to have a PCR test, and 133 people had the test. This was because the “Seating Position Confirmation System” was not used in the lecture, leading to the implementation of a large-scale inspection. If the system was functioning, it would be sufficient to conduct an inspection for a limited number of participants and all the participants didn’t have to be worried unnecessarily. Therefore, teachers are requested to instruct students to register with the system at the beginning of lectures, and students are requested to register with the system at the beginning of lectures.

While many members of the association are working to prevent the spread of COVID-19, it is regrettable that a large number of students from a certain club had a dinner party and 13 students were infected with COVID-19. This case did not reach the certification of cluster by Saitama City. However, in order not to cause such a situation, and in order to protect the health of yourself and your family and the region, please strictly observe the following matters.
