On December 19, 2023, H. E. YETH Vinel, Under Secretary of State of the MEF, Deputy Secretary General of the GSC, H. E. UM Youthy, Director of Admin, Finance, and Monitoring and Evaluation Division, Dr. NGOV Penghuy, National Advisor, Mr. METH Ramorn, Senior Specialist, Mr. KANG Sung Chheang, Senior Specialist, Ms. HUN Chhumvisachara, Accountant, Mr. SRON Ratha, Specialist, Mr. CHHIM Chandaro, Chief Officer, General Secretariat of MEF, and Mr. LAM Chong Hav, Assistant, from the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Cambodia paid a courtesy call on Dr. SAKAI Takafumi, President of Saitama University (SU).

During the courtesy call, Prof. Dr. ICHIHASHI Hideo, Vice President for International Affairs and Global Education, SU, Prof. Dr. IHARA Motoi, Dean of Faculty of Economics, SU, Prof. Dr. TAGUCHI Hiroyuki, Faculty of Economics, SU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. SAMRETH　Sovannroeun, Faculty of Liberal Arts, SU, and Mr. KY Sereyvuth, 3-year post-doctoral program student, Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences, SU, had a lively discussion about the possibility of future exchange in the two countries.
