【The background to the SATREPS project in Vietnam】

In 2006, SU and HUCE concluded the Inter- University Agreement, and have conducted numerous research and student exchanges. The two universities have been mutually sending and receiving master’s degree students through the Student Exchange Support Program of JASSO (Japan Student Services Organization) since 2011 and started a joint master’s course education program (Joint Master Program) in 2015. Based on these exchange achievements, in 2018, we launched the research project “Establishment of Environmentally Sound Management of Construction and Demolition Waste and Its Wise Utilization for Environmental Pollution Control and for New Recycled Construction Materials in Vietnam” as part of the JST-JICA Science and Technology Research Partnership for Sustainable Development (SATREPS) program.
