Saitama University Graduation Ceremony for the academic year 2025

The graduation ceremony for the 2025 academic year at Saitama University is scheduled to be held as follows.
Please note that due to venue constraints, the ceremony will be held in two separate sessions—morning and afternoon—depending on the Faculty or Graduate School.
If there are any changes, we will let you know on this page.

 

１．The date and time / Eligible attendees

Date: Wednesday, March 25, 2026

＜Morning session＞

Time The ceremony will begin at 10:30 AM. (Doors will open at 9:45 AM. Please enter by 10:20 AM. The ceremony is expected to conclude at around 12:00 PM.)

  • Faculty of Liberal Arts
  • Faculty of Economics
  • Faculty of Education
  • Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences
  • Graduate School of Education

＜Afternoon session＞

Time The ceremony will begin at 2:00 PM. (Doors will open at 1:15 PM. Please enter by 1:50 PM. The ceremony is expected to conclude at around 3:30 PM.)

  • Faculty of Science
  • Faculty of Engineering
  • Graduate School of Science and Engineering

  4. Address by a Representative of the Graduating Students

  8. Presentation of the Takaaki Kajita Award
  9. Closing Remarks

    ※The program is the same for both the morning and afternoon sessions.

３．Venue

Omiya Sonic City – Main Hall（1-7-5 Sakuragi-cho, Omiya-ku, Saitama-shi）
(Approximately a 3-minute walk from JR Omiya Station West Exit)

４．Notices

● The ceremony will be held in Japanese.
● Seating will also be provided for family members.
● Please use public transportation when visiting the venue.
● For information regarding diploma distribution, please contact the student affairs office of your Faculty or Graduate School from March 2026 onward.
