20 undergraduate students from Pune Institute of Computer Technology (PICT) visited Saitama University last Thursday, June 6 as part of their Japan Study Tour.    The visit started at 10 a.m. with a campus tour, and the delegates of PICT visited a couple of laboratories of Engineering Faculty afterwards: namely, Professor Takaaki Hasegawa’s lab and Professor Yoshinori Kuno’s lab.

    The group met with 20 SU’s graduate and undergraduate students after lunch for free talks and discussions over some refreshments.  Mr. Shrikant Atre, the coordinator of this study tour, also a professor of Tilak Maharashtra University, states his impression of the event: ‘This is their first visit to Japan, but their smile tells everything.’
